Homecoming is scheduled for Saturday, September 25, 2010 at Hallowing Point Park.

posted 08/31/2010 The Huntingtown High School Boys Lacrosse Team is hosting their "First Annual HHS Boys Lacrosse Golf Outing" with the support of the "who's who" of HHS Lacrosse.
They are asking for your help and support to make it a success.
A few highlights:
Date – Friday October 15th (No School)
Shotgun start at 9:00 am – followed by lunch/awards immediately after
Location – Enterprise Golf Club - Mitchellville, MD
Registration Deadline is September 15th – early bird discount of $10 if registered before September 1st.
(Also – it’s first come first served. So – sign up early before they move the announcement and sign up opportunity outside of the HHS Lacrosse community. )
All HHS Lacrosse past, present and future parents are encouraged to get involved with this event – and all help is appreciated. They are in need of hole, cart, beverage sponsors. They hope that the business community will help make this a successful event, and many of the those on this email are the bridge to making that connection.
They currently need new: Gloves, Arm Pads, Medical Kits (2), rolls of tape, Varsity and JV Ball Bags, 5 cases of balls, Tool Kit, emergency heads, String, stringing kits, cones, water bottles, water coolers, Stop watches, whistles, clipboards, etc. They also need to look at the big items as they move forward such as transitioning to new helmets and uniforms in the next few years.

We are looking for VOLUNTEERS again this year ~ please join us tonight night to discuss the events for the day and what is needed to make Homecoming 2010 a success. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend!

For the football players, cheerleaders and their family's protection during practice we are asking all parents to be seated along the back fence line or along the front sidewalk. We are also asking for your assistance in keeping our practice fields clean by removing all trash upon your departure. Thank you for your cooperation.

Just a reminder August 17th is the Hornet fundraiser at the Greene Turtle.

CCPR has decided to postpone the 2010 regular season until after Labor Day weekend.

The Hornets new home field will be field #12 at Hallowing Point Park.

Weigh-ins will be on Tuesday August 17th at PPMS in the gym ~ please plan to arrive no later than 6:30pm. Contact your head coach for more details.

Calvert Classic Championship Games to begin on November 6th, with championship games on November 13th

Weather permitting the Bi-County Bowl will be held on December 4th at McDonough High School in Charles County
