Our mission is to enhance the well-being and develop the potential of its members, their families and our community. In addition to the 2010 Football & Cheerleading applications that are now being accepted the Hornets are current looking for a new Treasurer.
Treasurer Position ~
Our current Treasurer will be stepping down beginning May 1, 2010 and we need to fill that position as soon as possible. Since this position is coming available in mid term it is not a general member vote position, it is a board vote/appointed position. The board will take all applicants interested and vote/appoint the best qualified applicant. There is no formal application for this position however we are asking that the individual interested submit a brief description of your interest in the position as well as be a current Hornet member, have some type of accounting background and a strong attention to detail.
Coach Applications ~
If you are interested in volunteering this year as a coach please fill out the Coaching Application as well as the Background Check Form and submit it by the April 13th meeting. Both forms can be found on the Hey Coach Page. It is our hope to have coaches selected before the May 2010 registrations begin. If you are unable to attend one of the next two meetings please contact a board member and advise them of your interest.
